The qEDFA series of Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifiers (EDFA) are reliable and high output fiber amplifiers for use in HFC, FTTH, PON and deep-fiber applications. Utilizing high power pump laser modules, qEDFA amplifiers deliver optical output levels up to +37 dBm (5,000 mW). This combination of technologies provide the highest mW per dollar ratio.
Depending number of pump lasers modules and configuration, qEDFA amplifiers produce optical output level from +25 dBm up to +37 dBm. The high power booster qEDFA is housed in a standard 19鈥� 2RU rack-mount unit.

EMLT-1550-SR series laser transmitters are designed for use in HFC, RFoG and FTTH applications. EMLT-1550-SR series transmitters are a cost-effective and versatile transmission solution for HFC/RFoG/FTTH networks regardless of architecture. EMLT-1550-SR transmitters incorporate a zero-chirp external modulator and pre-distortion circuit which allow 65 km transmission range, while maintaining a high OMI level and excellent CSO and CTB perbance. The launch power level can be adjusted from +13.5 dBm to +16.5 dBm.
EMLT-1550-SR transmitters can support up to 77 NTSC analog channels. Designed to be digitally ready, the transmitters can also be loaded with additional QAM modulated data or HDTV channels.QAMnet EMLT-1550-SR transmitters are available in four output power level versions: +6 dBm, +7 dBm, +8 dBm and +9 dBm.
